Real Mitti

Mitti attar is a type of attar that is made from the distilled essence of baked earth, also known as “mitti” in Hindi. It is a traditional fragrance that has been used in India for centuries.

To make mitti attar, clay is first baked in a traditional oven called a “chulha” to produce a fragrant smoke. The smoke is then collected and passed through a vessel containing a sandalwood oil base. The oil absorbs the fragrance of the smoke, resulting in the unique and earthy scent of mitti attar.

Mitti attar is commonly used in India as a natural perfume and is believed to have a grounding and calming effect on the mind and body.
